17th International MTZ Conference on Heavy-Duty Engines | Hybrid Event
You have the choice: participate on site or virtually via live stream.
Due to the current situation created by Covid-19, the "17th International MTZ Conference on Heavy-Duty Engines 2022" will take place as a hybrid event this year.
Manufacturers of large engines and related components face mounting pressures: they are expected to meet rising demands for engine output, while also reducing fuel consumption and emissions. New concepts for engines, injection systems, waste-heat recovery and drivetrain optimization are called for in order to overcome these challenges. Combining presentations and in-depth discussions, the international MTZ conference "Heavy-Duty, On- and Off-Highway Engines" offers you the ideal platform.
Sustainable climate protection can only be achieved if all the stops are pulled out for energy converters and carriers. This can only be done with openness to technology. Especially in the heavy-duty sector, there is no way around alternative fuels and hydrogen.
The 17th International MTZ Conference "Heavy-Duty, On- and Off-Highway Engines" therefore offers engine developers and designers of commercial vehicles and mobile machinery, as well as marine and stationary equipment a platform to inform themselves about and exchange ideas on the latest developments in new power units and alternative energy sources. The conference in Donaueschingen will be supplemented by a guided tour of the MAHLE GmbH plant.

In order to ensure that the ATZlive conferences are safe and successful for all participants, even in times of Corona, we have drawn up a wide-ranging hygiene protection concept and are making detailed arrangements with the event partners.
The hygiene protection concept is based on the SARS-CoV-2 industrial safety standard of the German federal government and on the official requirements, which can vary from state to state. Of course, we will provide sufficient protective measures on site and adhere to a concept for contactless check-in, seating with a safe distance, keeping a distance during breaks and catering, disinfection facilities, etc.
If you would prefer to participate virtually in the event for health reasons or due to travel restrictions, 2022 we will offer you a live stream with Q&A function, 1:1 video chat with participants and other useful functions in parallel.
We are adapting to the current pandemic situation. If a real meeting at the conference date is not possible, you can experience the entire conference in our virtual conference module.
A trade exhibition of interesting suppliers and service providers rounds off the conference and provides the opportunity to find out about innovations.
